How to make your pavers look like new!
Are your pavers looking deterriorated, faded, and just worn out? This is normal for pavers, especially if you live in a state where temperatures fluctuate wildly (Colorado). This is what you need to do to get them looking good:
Before putting sealing the pavers, make sure you clean them well. We recommend a high pressure washer. Use an acid based masonry detergent along to clean appropriately. Apply two coats of sealent to your pavers. Make sure your pavers are dry before you do any sealent work.
Another common issue with pavers is vegetation between the joints. This is because the material used in the joint is worn out, providing habitat for weeds. To fix this, make sure that the joint depth is at least 1" deep. Clean pavers with acid based masonry detergent, then apply Polymeric Joint Sand (Can be found in Home Depot).
Using these two methods will ensure that your pavers are looking great for the Summer.
